Adobe patches Flash Player

A dozen vulnerabilities mean new versions of Flash Player and AIR on all platforms, including iOS and Android. Adobe has released new versions of Flash Player and Air for all platforms. The updates address 12 vulnerabilities in the products, some of them rated critical. The vulnerable versions of Flash Player for Windows and Mac are 14.0.0.179 and earlier and 13.0.0.241 and earlier. Ericsson opens its first Global ICT Center in Sweden

Ericsson today inaugurates its first Global ICT Center in Linköping, Sweden. This follows Ericsson’s announcement made in September last year to build three new Global ICT Centers. Two will be located in Sweden; one in Quebec, Canada. The centers will support Ericsson’s over 25,000 Research and Development employees’ daily work as well as service organizations around the world. Serbia starts countdown to ASO

Serbia has officially begun its transition to digital broadcasting, with analogue switch off set to take place in some parts of the country on March 1, 2015 and completed exactly two months later. Ericsson and Polkomtel have successfully carried out the first test of LTE Broadcast technology in Poland. Taking place on August 30, it streaming the opening game of the 2014 World Volleyball Championship between Poland and Serbia to 300 selected guests and journalists at Warsaw’s National Stadium.
