Virgin claims it now provides the fastest broadband connection in the UK. Virgin Media launched new broadband connectivity running at speeds up to 152 Mbps, billing the new option as the fastest connection speed available in the UK right now. European Parliament delays vote to scrap roaming charges

Complaints about English-only documents delays vote. EU lawmakers have postponed a planned vote on scrapping mobile phone roaming charges across Europe. Slovenia opens DTT tender

The Slovenian regulator AKOS (Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia) has announced a tender for four DTT broadcasting licences. The deadline for the submission of bids has been set as April 8, with the public opening of the bids due to take place three days later. Winners will be required to enter into a contract with an active multiplex operator within 45 days of securing a licence and to start broadcasting within three months.
